Leading when the Path is Unclear

I remember my first leadership role in our innovation team. Nothing was stable, everything was taking shape. I had to set the direction without a map. In meetings, we made decisions that could have a significant impact, often with only a gut feeling. That is when it became clear: it is not about controlling processes, but about enduring uncertainty. And having the courage to move forward despite it. This experience continues to shape my work today. The uncertainty has not disappeared, it has become more technical. AI is becoming part of our teams. Systems suggest, prioritize, and offer recommendations. This changes how we work and raises new questions.
How do I lead when an algorithm has a different assessment than I do?
What does responsibility mean when the suggestion comes from a system I do not fully understand?
How do I create trust within my team, in the technology, and in the shared path forward?
The Leadership Lab is our response to these questions. A space where leadership is tested, not as theory, but as a living prototype. In the lab, we think together, experiment, and question, so that leadership not only works but holds.
In my work, I bring together psychological, technological, and design perspectives with experiences from change processes and my research on human and AI collaboration. We work with real decisions and people who are willing to engage with the uncertain.
In the Leadership Lab, I work with a specific focus: the change and trust side of leading with AI. Because here is what I have learned: when teams begin to work with intelligent systems, the technical questions are often the easiest to solve. The real challenge lies in how we think about responsibility, how we build trust in the system and in each other, and how we navigate the shifts in culture and communication that come with it. This is where I accompany teams. Not to give them answers, but to help them find their own clarity about what leadership means when humans and AI act together. The lab becomes a space where we can practice this new form of leadership before it matters most.
Leadership does not arise in security, but in the clarity one finds when much is still open. And in the courage to take responsibility, even when the path only becomes visible as you walk it.

Shaping Your Leadership Team’s Stance on AI Transformation

Building on a shared understanding, this in-house workshop which is co-created with Kirsten Heller, guides your leadership team in developing a clear stance and strategic guardrails for navigating AI-driven change. It marks the shift from knowing to committing, and leading.

This program is a strategic partnership with your HR and L&D department. Instead of a standard training, we co-create a leadership program in a 3-month process that is precisely tailored to the needs of your leaders and the challenges of your organization. The result is not just a program, but an empowered HR team that can sustainably anchor the transformation within the company.

For whom: HR and L&D teams planning a company-wide leadership development initiative in the context of AI.

Focus: Co-creation of a tailored leadership program and empowerment of the HR team.

Duration: A 3-month, guided co-creation process.

This program is an intensive, practice-oriented training for a single leader and their entire team. The focus is on direct application in their own work context. Together, you will define the roles and processes in your new, hybrid team, learn to make AI-supported decisions, and establish a culture of trust. It is not a theoretical training, but a guided transformation of your own team.

For whom: A leader (e.g., Product Owner, Innovation Lead) and their complete team.
Focus: Direct improvement of collaboration and performance in your own human-AI team.
Duration: Guided practical sprints.

⸻ LEADING CHANGE

This in-house program is the initial spark for teams where AI adoption has stalled. In an intensive sprint, your entire team works to develop a shared understanding of their new AI colleagues and to create the psychological safety necessary for true collaboration. It is the fastest way to lay the foundation for a trusting and productive human-AI collaboration.

For whom: An existing team that is hesitant to use AI tools.

Focus: Overcoming mistrust, creating psychological safety.

What if we rethink Leadership?

What if leaders could embrace change with confidence instead of fearing uncertainty?

What if learning wasn’t just theory but hands-on, practical, and useful?

What if leadership wasn’t just about managing today but about being ready for whatever comes next?

What if leading people also meant learning how to lead alongside intelligent systems?

The greatest lesson from years of transformation: Organizations grow only as fast as their people. At the center of this growth are leaders – the true catalysts for meaningful and lasting change. But transformation doesn’t happen by chance. It demands that leaders evolve, within themselves, their teams, and their organizations, and now, in how they work with intelligent systems.

That’s why my learning design goes beyond traditional approaches. From quick, actionable insights to real-world experiences and fully customized learning journeys. I create programs that do more than teach skills, they build the capacity to lead in human teams and hybrid Human-AI environments.
